KALO AMBELI

Kalo Ambeli is located on the south side of the island and only 3.5 km away from Livadi. A small beach that stands out for its picturesqueness and the fact that it has remained untouched over the years. To reach the beach, you will need to leave your car and walk on a path for 15-20 minutes. The path itself is a nice experience, as you pass through the reeds and meet the picturesque chapel of the Transfiguration of the Savior.

If you are on the island on August 5-6, do not forget to attend the festival, for an authentic island party. Kalo Ambeli does not have tamarisk trees for shade, but it has transparent waters, golden sand, impressive seabed, and scattered rocks in and out of the sea, which enchant the visitor. Between the rocks, on the right side, the area is suitable for diving, as well as to enjoy the turquoise waters.

 Access: By road and then a footpath for 15-20 minutes.

  Tips: There is no dining area near the beach.
