Livadi

Livadi is the largest, most populous, and most densely populated settlement of Serifos, while it is the only port on the island. It is located on the southeast side of Serifos in about 5 km from the capital, Chora and they are connected between them with a highway and a traditional cobbled path. In the past, it used tom be a fishing village, however with the tourist development, especially during the last three decades, it developed into the tourist center of the island.

There you can find rooms to let and hotels, cafes, bars, restaurants, taverns as well as many services (Post Office, Bank, Police, Port Authority, gas station, etc.). Architecturally, it has no difference from the traditional Cycladic settlements, since it has white houses with blue windows. Also, the beach of Avlomonas is one of the few organized beaches on the island, with many tamarisk trees that offer their precious shade to bathers.
