Les pieces qui y sont expos\u00e8es ne sont pas  nombreuses, car l\u2019 espace est limit\u00e9, cependant le musee est ouvert au public toute l'ann\u00e9e. . Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 en 1976 et accueille des expositions traditionnelles (tissus, poteries c\u00e9ramiques, ustensiles m\u00e9nagers, objets en porcelaine, costumes locaux et d\u2019autres artefacts, utilis\u00e9s dans  les travaux agricoles, m\u00e9nagers et d\u2019autres travaux ruraux aux XIXe et XXe si\u00e8cles  ) qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 offertes par les insulaires. Il abrite divers objets (outils) utilis\u00e9s quotidiennement par les mineurs ainsi qu'une collection de roches provenant du riche sous-sol de Serifos.
